I just checked out ThinkGeek.com. They’ve got some hilarious stuff. Great stuff that for those of us who are permanently conjoined with our laptops!
Here’s one of my favorites:
The USB Beverage Chiller is the only way to keep a drink cold while you’re at your computer - and it looks cool on any desktop. With the USB Beverage Chiller at your side, you can keep your beverage chilled and stay at your computer longer. This translates into greater work or gaming productivity - and what geek doesn’t enjoy increasing their efficiency. Just seconds after plugging the chiller into a USB port (no external outlet needed), the coldplate chills to 45 degrees Fahrenheit, the perfect temperature for helping keep your beverage cool.
By the way, I am in no way, shape or form affiliated with ThinkGeek…only jealous I didn’t come up with any of these ideas first ![]()

I have one of those. I saw it on ThinkGeek’s site and was really excited to get one of my own. However, it’s very noisy. I guess if you’re gaming with headphones on or if you work in a noisy office it wouldn’t matter, but it drove me crazy. Just my 2 cents.
Thanks for the heads up Sabrina. It’s always good to hear real world experiences for stuff you can only buy online and can’t test in a store!
The best way to become a successful Virtual Assistant is to create a business and business identity. You can do this by creating several materials at a very low cost: business cards, website, a service list and a bio(made from your resume).
