I was just reading a post on the Business Book Summaries blog about 4 Overlooked Ways to Master Time Management for Small Business Owners. It’s sort of a back to the basics list that I thought bears repeating. After all, these things might seem like no-brainer’s but I often get so caught up in whatever project I’m working on at that moment that I am guilty of violating all four! I bet you do too sometimes.
The four keys mentioned are:
*Avoid Procrastination — I would tell you my opinion on this one, but I just have to get a few things done first.
*Outsource — The best advice I’ve ever heard for the small business owner…not just because that’s my business either!
*Prioritize — I live and die by my Palm and Outlook synched to-do lists!
*Focus on Your Goals— so important! It’s far too easy to get so caught up in the short term that you forget how you got there or even where you’re going!
